Loans are granted under two main categories:-
A) Commercial Loans:
It covers a variety of activities such as:
General Merchandise, Insdustry, Equipments, Real Estate Services, Import & Export Facilities etc
B) Personal Loans:
Personal loan is offered mainly to Government and Public Corporate employees against end of Service benefits, in addition to other securities.
Car loans and some other personal consumer goods are also granted.
Interest rates on personal loans are charged on diminishing balance.
For Car and housing loans, the applicable mode of finance is "Murabaha".
Average duration of procedure is about one week for commercial loans and three days for personal loan.
